AIME – American Invitational Mathematics Examination
The AIME is an advanced mathematics competition for approximately the top 5% of AMC 10/12 participants. It is held annually in March and consists of 15 challenging problems, with each answer being an integer from 0 to 999.

Each problem is worth 10 points, for a total score of 150. AIME requires strong mathematical foundations and advanced problem-solving skills and is an important step toward qualifying for the USAMO.

Strong AIME performance can also be a valuable academic achievement when applying to universities such as MIT, Harvard, and Stanford.

Key Topics Include:
Advanced Algebra – rational functions, complex expressions, relationships between roots, and function properties
Sequences & Recurrence Relations
Geometry – coordinate geometry, triangle properties, and special figures
Number Theory – modular arithmetic, divisibility, and quadratic residues
Combinatorics & Counting – recurrence methods, inclusion-exclusion, and constructive approaches
Advanced Logic & Constructive Problem Solving

Competition Features:
All answers are integers. Problems require significant calculation, creative stL1(G4-G6)-L6 (IMO)
