Break Camps Introduce

Lorvale Academy’s March Break Camp is an age-specific and diverse holiday learning program designed for students ages 5–18. By combining academic enrichment, personal development, and engaging activities, the program helps students strengthen a wide range of skills during the school break.

1. Basic Information

Schedule: The camp is typically held in mid-March (for example, March 10–14 or March 16–20), depending on the official schedule for that year. Each session lasts one week, Monday through Friday.

Location: Programs are primarily offered at Lorvale’s Markham campus. Some courses are also available online, such as AP exam preparation and competition preparation for high school students.

Age Groups: Students are grouped by age, covering JK (Kindergarten) through Grade 12.

2. Course Structure by Age Group

JK–G8

Required Academic Courses: Comprehensive English (Reading, Writing & Public Speaking), Math, and Science Experiments (STEAM) for selected grades. These courses focus on strengthening foundational academic skills and logical thinking.

Enrichment & Interest Courses (Electives): Programs include Arts & Crafts, Chess, Robotics & Coding, and indoor/outdoor sports such as Boxing, Street Dance, Fencing, Soccer, and Badminton. These activities are designed to develop hands-on skills, logical thinking, and physical fitness.

Special Programs: Selected grades may also participate in courses such as Financial Literacy and Reading & Writing Enrichment.

G9–G12

Academic & Exam Preparation: Includes AP exam preparation in subjects such as Microeconomics/Macroeconomics, Calculus, and U.S. History, as well as IELTS intensive preparation and competition training, including Euclid Mathematics Contest, CEO Economics Olympiad, and Business Case Competitions. These programs are primarily designed for students preparing for further education, exams, or academic competitions.

Enrichment Programs: Selected courses are offered online, including Economics Olympiad preparation and Business Case Competition preparation.
