Lorvale’s Badminton Program is mainly offered as part of the Lorvale Summer Camp and March Break Camp comprehensive sports programs. The program is jointly organized by Lorvale and Ontario Badminton Academy. It combines fun training activities with technical instruction, aiming to improve students’ badminton skills, physical coordination, and reaction abilities.

    1. Target Students & Class Grouping

Target Students: Ages 4–14. Students are grouped according to age and skill level to ensure that students within each group have similar abilities and receive appropriate instruction.

Course Format: Classes are organized by week/session, with different themes each week to avoid repetitive content.

    2. Course Content & Schedule

Fundamental Skills & Techniques: Training includes proper grip techniques, serving and receiving, clears, forehand and backhand net shots, and footwork, including starting movements, left-right movement, backcourt movement, and front-court movement.

Advanced & Practical Training: Combines fun training activities and games with multi-shuttle drills, full-court footwork training, and match play to improve reaction speed, hand-eye coordination, and practical playing skills.

Course Schedule: During Summer Camp and March Break Camp, 2 hours of sports activities are scheduled each day, either in the morning or afternoon. Specific times follow the overall camp schedule, which typically runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
